2012 Track and Field Season
Wednesday, May 16, 2012-
Track and Field Banquet
The MoHi Track and Field banquet is Thursday, May 24th, from 6:45pm-8:30pm at the Louisville Recreation
Center in the Crown and Brooks rooms.
Uniform Return
MoHi Track and Field uniforms are to be returned on Monday, May 21st, at 3:00pm in the Health Room across
from the training room. Please make sure your uniform is clean and in a bag with your name on the outside.
Uniforms that are returned late are subject to a $40 fine and missing uniforms will be billed at the replacement
cost.
Friday, April 27, 2012-
Senior Posters
We need volunteers to help create 18 senior posters on Sunday May 6th at 2:00pm at
Heidi Leachman's home at
2045 Keota Lane
in Superior. If you are interested in helping, please contact
Heidi.
Monday, April 23, 2012-
BVSD Converts to Google Groups
The Boulder Valley School District converted all of the email lists to Google Groups today, which
included the MoHiTrack and MoHiXc lists. All of the current list members should have received an
email notification requesting confirmation to be added to the new groups. If you have not received
this notification, you can access the groups directly at
Monarch High School Track and Field
and
Monarch High School Cross Country.
Tuesday, March 20, 2012-
Team pictures will be taken on Thursday, March 22, at the start of practice.
Please wear your uniform to practice so that you can be in the picture. Thanks!
Monday, February 27, 2012-
Track and Field Begins!
Today is the official start of the Monarch High School Track & Field season! Practices start at 3:15pm
and we meet outside of the small gym. Be sure your are registered with the athletic office as you must
be registered to be allowed to practice with the team. Go Coyotes!
Monday, February 13, 2012-
The official start of the Track and Field season is February 27th!
Please register before the season starts and make sure that you have a current physical (i.e. one that will not
expire during the season). There will be an informational parents meeting on February 21, 2012, at 6:00pm
in the MHS auditorium. Athlete's are welcome, but not required.
Also, our annual "SPIKE NITE" is on February 28th at Runners Roost in Louisville. Watch for more details
on this event in the next few weeks.
Saturday, December 17, 2011-
Winter running starts on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00am. Please meet at the school by the small gym.
Thursday, December 8, 2011-
Time to start winter training for the spring track season!
Distance runners start conditioning on December 19th and sprinters,
throwers, jumpers, hurdlers, vaulters start conditioning on January 4th.
There will be a meeting at school at on January 4th at 3:15pm by
the small gym. Watch for more details to come!

Reminder: The Cross Country Banquet is Thursday, November 3rd at 6:30-9:00pm. Each family
is reminded to bring $10.00 to cover the cost of the coaches' gifts, senior pictures/displays, and
decorations.
Monday, October 17, 2011-
Congratulations on a fantastic regular season! Here are some end of the season reminders:
- Regionals are Wednesday, October 19, at the Aurora Sports Complex. Races start at 2:30pm.
- Uniforms are to be turned in on Thursday, October 20, in the health room. Be sure all uniforms are clean, in a bag, and labeled with the althlete's name.
- The end of the season banquet will on Thursday, November 3, in the Monarch High School cafeteria.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011-
Just a reminder: We will be handing out uniforms on Saturday after the Coyote Chase.
Each runner must turn in their
uniform release form
by Friday in order to be issued a uniform.

Hey Everyone, Here are some dates to remember:
- "Spike Night" is this Thursday, August 18, at 6:0pm at Runners Roost on McCaslin Blvd in Louisville.
- The Coyote Chase 5k run/fundraiser in on Saturday, August 27th, at 8:00am at Monarch High School. Please visit www.coyotechase5k.net.
- Our first Cross Country meet is Saturday, September 3rd.

2012 Cross Country Season
2012 Cross Country Camp
Be sure to register for the Cross Country camp to be held the week of July 23 - July 27 in Leadville, CO.
2011 Cross Country Season
2011 Cross Country Camp
The 2011 Cross Country
camp will be the week of July 25 - July 29 in Leadville, CO. There's availabilty for 60+ campers,
so return your registration forms
as soon as possible.
2011 Coyote Chase
The Coyote Chase will be held on 8:00am August 27, 2011. The Coyote Chase is the annual
fundraiser for the Monarch Cross Country Teams and all proceeds from the race go to support the
teams during the year. Racers will receive a race t-shirt and awards will be given to age group
winners. For more information about the race, please visit our Coyote Chase web site at:
